TEDx CorkSalon, the local community-formatted TED talks curated, produced and staged in Cork city by a team of “doers” and friends pulled from various walks of life with the goal of creating conversations and connections.
Welcome to TEDxCorkSalon, a place for diverse, passionate and open-minded individuals to connect with each other. We completed a full term of six salons, between June 2016 and May 2017. Each salon was specifically designed with themes relevant to the people of Cork.

TEDxCorkSalon 1: Cork Loves Vintage
“The first in the TEDxCorkSalon series is a discussion about vintage culture, and takes place on 16th June 2016 at The Village Hall, Patrick’s Quay, Cork City. The goal of this salon is to highlight Cork city as a destination for the vintage-loving tourist.”

TEDxCorkSalon 2: Cork Loves Music
TEDxCorkSalon presents *Cork Loves Music*, the second salon in the six part series. This Salon is spread across two sessions of live talks and diverse performances. The objective of #CorkLovesMusic is to understand Cork’s strong relationship with music while exploring the different layers of its connection.
